Whatever your children's ages, we tailor your photoshoot around you as a family, what you love, what you do, how you laugh and how you live. No two families are ever the same so every photoshoot we do is different.

We spend time together in a pre shoot consultation, where we can discover who you really are as a family. Whatever you love to do, whether it's sport, music, yoga, gymnastics, food, cars, bikes or just reading a good book, we can capture the moment beautifully. We allow enough time in our photoshoots so everyone can relax and feel comfortable. We quickly build a rapport - especially with the younger ones - that results in images that are naturally joyous and reflect your child’s true personality.

I know from experience the pleasure of having wonderful pictures of my six children's younger years as well as those I love. With such a large family, I understand the dynamics of recording family interactions on camera.

BOOKING

Once you have booked your session we’ll have a little chat over the phone, via Zoom or in-person to plan & decide how to style your photoshoot.

We can talk about the styles of portraits you would like, how best to prepare and also discuss how you might want to display your final artwork.

Step 2

PORTRAIT SESSION

Your photoshoot will be tailored to you and together we’ll decide on your outfits, colours and styles.

We’ll ensure your session is exciting and full of energy, yet keep you relaxed and comfortable too.

With our expert posing and lighting skills we will create a beautiful series of portraits that you’ll adore.

Step 3

VIEWING & ORDERING

After your session you'll enjoy a beautiful presentation of your stunning portraits on our large screen.

It’s a delightful and relaxed ordering session, what you fall in love with and choose to purchase is entirely up to you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO COME IN?

Really the best time is NOW! Our children grow so fast, we as parents don't notice their changes like others that see them every so often. How many times do we hear our friends and relatives say "haven't they grown" about our kids? Our recommendation is to have professional portraits done every couple of years. In the years to come you'll appreciate how fast time has flown and how quickly your family has changed.

WHO CAN JOIN IN?

Obviously the WHOLE family! Including both mum and dad. So often our clients say "I'd just like the shoot of the kids", without realising that they are depriving their children of images together with their parents in the future. Believe me, I know this from my own experience! I have lots of photos of my parents, but hardly any WITH my parents - that's why I say it's so important to all be in the photos together.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE?

Many mums like to go for a full makeover and hair styling whilst others like to keep it natural. If in doubt it’s often best to go for a level you’d feel comfortable with, so think of how you would do you make-up and hair for a night out.

Remember your nails will be in your portraits too, so polished or bare are both fine but try and ensure they are clean and tidy.

As far as clothes are concerned, we encourage you to bring at least a couple of coordinated outfits (for each family member) to your session, including both something light and dark. Patterned clothes, large logos, checks, stripes and graphics detract from the images - they draw more attention to the clothes rather than the people wearing them. So something plain, simple and timeless is what we encourage you to wear, but we'll go over all this in detail in our pre-shoot consultation.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANY SPECIAL ITEMS?

We always like to show the real personality of our families, so if you're into music, bring along your favourite instruments, if it's sport, bring your gear or kit in. If you're a bookworm, bring in your favourite books. We can accommodate pets too!

The list is endless, simply bring in anything meaningful that show you - or your children - doing what you all like to do, whatever that might be! We guarantee you'll have so much fun showing off your personality!

CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP US?

Yes….but with the posing skills we’ll teach you and the lighting techniques we use we won’t really need to!

If you have any scars, unwanted tattoos, blemishes etc you want editing out do let us know. Rest assured, we'll make you look your very best, and we are expert retouchers in Photoshop too!
